Canyon-related sessions at ASLO/Ocean Sciences

posted Jul 13, 2015, 6:58 AM by Submarine canyons

Our canyon community is one of the most active deep-sea research communities! If you don't make it to AGU, there are more opportunities to show & discuss your research. Next big meeting on the calendar will be the Ocean Sciences/ASLO meeting in New Orleans, 21 - 26 February 2016. There are two sessions of interest for submarine canyon research:

ME017: Integrated Assessments of Vulnerable Deep-Sea Ecosystems: methods, recent advances and future challenges (by Christian Mohn, Martin White and Kostas Kiriakoulakis)

ME011: Exploration and Research of Complex Deep-Sea Environments: a holistic approach to understanding submarine canyons and seamounts (by Jason Chaytor, Furu Mienis, Kelley Elliott and Elizabeth Lobecker)

Abstract submission starts on 20 July!
